Getting to know your body shape, Margaret and Michelle will take time to understand your perfect fit and what is required to enhance your most beautiful features — taking measurements, trying on sample dresses, sketching ideas and looking at your inspiration is all a part of their design process.
For the interstate bride, the consultation can be combined with a first fitting.

The construction of your dress starts with the underbody. The foundation of your dress, the underbody is carefully designed with consideration given to body shape, proportions, style and importantly, your comfort and movement. The style of your shoulder and neckline are defined during this phase by what the body gives to the dress.
Keeping an open mind during the process, enables your couture design to evolve into a sensual and alluring gown, it’s beauty only heightened by your most striking features.
THE FINER DETAILS THAT EMPHASISE THE MOST STRIKING FEATURES OF YOUR SILHOUETTE”
Refining your gowns shape, your silhouette is enhanced by French laces, luxurious fabrics and beading in the outer layers. Your gown has come to life and by the third fitting, the full picture of your dress has been realised — the final finishes sewn and hand-appliquéd. Couture dress design is an evolving process with some brides requiring up to 5 fittings to complete their gown.
Suzie Rogers, exclusive headpiece designer for MXM Couture, may create veiling and headpieces at this time to complete your wedding day look.
THE ANTICIPATION OF COLLECTING YOUR WEDDING DRESS FROM MXM COUTURE — AN EMOTIONAL AND EXCITING EXPERIENCE”
Pick up of your completed wedding dress is a highly anticipated occasion. Timing is determined by you with some brides wishing to leave their dress at the MXM Couture studio until the week prior to the wedding. Final payment is required upon collection.
MXM Couture will advise you on appropriate transportation and care of your wedding dress to ensure that the most delicate of fabrics are looked after.
